We help support homes that take on abandoned babies and toddlers in Uganda. These children may have been dumped in garbage bins, pit latrines or simply left unattended by the side of the road.
These homes provide a safe and loving environment for the babies while working to identify and locate family members so that babies can be resettled within their extended families.
Failing that, the homes seek to find foster or adoptive parents for the children. Our partner, CRANE itself, has a programme called Families for Children which assists its projects in this process.
We are proud to have partnered with the CRANE network to deliver the help needed in order to make a difference.
